UniBeast: Install macOS Sierra on Any Supported Intel-based PC

As far as I was aware I was following the guide.

I tried and got an error during the last setp of using unibeast.
When I try again its just says

Volumes are Mounted
"Make sure neither 'OS X Install ESD' or 'OS X Base System' are mounted on your drive"

sorry i thought you got to the installer and was trying to format your usb stick and not hard drive

Have you tried with 16gb?
My installation is stuck at "11 min remaining" with 8GB stick. I am trying 2 sticks and still no luck.
Do I really have to buy 8GB? Sierra is only 5GB big.... argh.

I self answered my question using a (clever?) trick: I installed the very same Unibeast on a GPT 16GB disk image.

The problem lies in the USB stick size: It definitly needs to be larger than 8GB. I can hope again! I'll let you know how it goes once I can put my hands on one. (Is this place the right one to post on successes? I think I haven't seen my specific config (Z170 + 960 EVO NVME M.2) with Sierra yet...)

Every time I install, I save my Multibeast config to the USB drive. I have since found out that it can't load a saved config and I have to start over.

I used Yosemite multibeast to install AtherosL1cEthernet 1.2.3
no in OsX Sierra my network appears as a bluetooth device, i've done speed tests, at least everything is working fine now

You fix was a life saver for me when I was about to throw the hack out of the window! Network works like a charm now. Too bad in the new Multibeast the required driver no longer is available. Thanks!

Unfortunately an update to Sierra didn't work out. The computer froze during reboot. I managed however to successfully install a fresh version of Sierra by using a USB stick with unibeast. Right now I'm running happily 10.12.5 stable on my computer.

I recommend the AirPort Extreme hardware to everybody. In combination with time machine the restoration of my user files took only little time.

One point of remark: I have a tonymac recommended build from a few years ago. I had to install the network driver from the Yosemite Multibeast in order to get LAN network going. The Multibeast from Sierra does not contain the right driver anymore.
