See Post #18.

OK... I guess I need a USB2 drive to use as an installer. I don't have one BUT I did install USB2 ports from the motherboard. Still didn't work. maybe my drives are too fast? Will try a USB2 drive tomorrow. I have forgotten all the little gotchas of installing I guess.

Not asking for help. Just working through it on the thread. Maybe it will help the next guy.

Update: didn't work.

Thanks, new UniBeast. Successfully installed Mojave.

Followed this guide and have used many different USB's and every USB port on my system, all to no avail.
My system "clover" fails to see the USB/installer.
After creating the installer, UniBeast says installer created successfully on each occasion I've tried
so I'm now at a complete loss as to why my system can't see the USB upon bootup
Currently have a working Sierra partition which I'm using to post this reply.

Anyone else come across this with some ideas on how to fix ???

Downloading the macOS Mojave 10.14.1 installer from the App Store I only get a 22 MB "Install macOS Mojave" file in /Applications. Is Apple hiding the installation files somewhere? Unlike in the past? Can Unibeast handle this or was Unibeast made for 10.14.0 and Apple changed something with the first update?

EDIT: lol Apple? Once Mojave is installed you can download the Mojave installer again (using the new App Store) and THIS TIME the installer in /Applications is actually 6+ GB?
