I have the same problem here....
Thank you! I was able to get past this error by following your suggestion to use Diskpart in Windows to reformat to FAT32. Note that you'll need an elevated (Admin) command prompt to do it.Windows > Run > Diskpart
- list disk
-> look at the number of your USB stick and replace # by it:
- select disk #
Then, in the windows disk management (righ click on "My Computer" in Win explorer > Manage), right click on the USB stick then, New Volume.
Then, you will be able to format it in the windows explorer.
