Hi!
Making the USB installer with Unibeast 8.3.1 hangs after copying files when it's installing the bootloader.
I have investigated the log and found out it said that the partition scheme of the destination disk is not correct.
I have erased my whole USB several times with both GPT and MBP scheme and the same error appeared.

Here is some info:
  1. UniBeast version: 8.3.1
  2. UniBeast choices: High sierra
  3. USB partition scheme, GPT or MBR and size of the destination partition: GPT and MBR, 16GB USB
  4. System specifics where UniBeast was run including hardware configuration and macOS version: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017), MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.1 (19B88)
  5. Error message: Only Error message from the Log, the Unibeast stuck at the screen "Installing Bootloader

The USB is 5.3 GB when there is an error. Is it possible for me to manually put the EFI folder to the EFI partition?

The EFI partition is not used when you install in Legacy mode :

ERROR: /dev/disk2s1 use an unsupported partition scheme:

I had checked the partition scheme of my disk and I am sure it is GPT.
I think it is the problem but I don't know what is causing that problem ....

The Installation Guide said:
12. At Bootloader Options screen choose UEFI Boot Mode or Legacy Boot Mode. UEFI Boot Mode is recommended for 7/8/9/100/200 Series CustoMac desktops and all UEFI capable systems. Legacy Boot Mode is recommended for 5/6 Series CustoMac desktops and all BIOS based systems.

Yeah, want to try to install High sierra with my OLD pc, i5 2310 with h67 motherboard
so have to use legacy mode

Please read and comply with the rules, in particular the one regarding profiles.

Is this a problem with Catalina?
Since I can still make a bootable USB with my Macbook Pro running Mojave back on May 2019

UniBeast has not been tested on Catalina.
thank you for your reply! I am still trying with older version of Unibeast and other USB sticks.
If it's not working, I may try the vanilla method or consider downgrade my Catalina. :banghead:
