Hi, my laptop, a Dell Inspiron 3521, won't boot from USB; at all. (El Capitan)

I followed the Unibeast guide, and as far as I have got is to a screen with the Apple logo, a loading bar, in which gets half way, the screen goes black, and nothing happens...

Any idea on what I'm doing wrong? Is there an easier way than using Clover, too? As it doesn't seem to like me!

Cheers

Yeah, that didn't work for me either, thanks all the same though

I'm going to attempt that first link you posted; but I'm stuck at the bit where you have to add the VoodooController, how do I know which file to download off GitHub?

As is stated quite clearly in the guide, read the README for download location.

Right, I think I've done it right now; It's just copying the installer files to disk, in terminal.

Fingers crossed this works, as I get the feeling I'm wasting your time bud

Crossed fingers will have no effect on the outcome.

Only what you did with those same fingers during USB preparation :)

Whilst I wait, for that to complete, which settings should I select in the bios?
I want to get this right, haha! 6622.BIOS.JPG
