Have been trying to install Yosemite on my first hacintosh and cannot get my system to start without the following boot flags:

-x -v npci=0x2000 nv_disable=1

i initially installed with chrimera, but then installed clover on install SSD. enabled TRIM. installed multibeast. installed nvdia drivers.

still can't boot up without safe mode.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

build:
X99A MSI, i7-5820k, 980ti, 64gb DDR4

fixed it by installing on GUID drive and then carbonC it to an MBR drive. start with boot flags. installed multibeast.

So for the x99 platform you need to partition with MBR and not GUID?

You have to load system in unibeast and then install on GUID formatted drive but then clone it to a MBR drive for it to start without the -x boot flag (safe mode)
