Unable to complete Yosemite installation

Hi Guys

Im doing an upgrade from Mavericks to Yosemite. I boot to the unibeast usb drive, and do the first part of the installation until it restarts. The guide says to boot back into the usb to complete the rest of the installation but when i do that it starts the entire installation again. I did this twice with no luck. Any help?

After you complete the Installation, Reboot.

1. Turn on the computer
2. Press the hotkey to choose boot device
3. Choose USB-HDD
4. At the Chimera Boot Screen, choose your new Yosemite installation.
5. Complete OS X Yosemite setup

Thanks for your reply! Thats the part i am up to. When i boot into the USB it starts the installation process all over again. If i boot into the Mavericks HD i get the "cant find mach_kernel" error. I beleive you have to remove that string from the plist file. But i do not have the <key>Kernel</key<string>mach_kernel</string> in the plist file. I do however have the UseKernelCache string enabled, is it necessary to remove this?

any ideas?

Did you try boot Marverick with -x?

Thanks for that! -x kinda worked but it reminded me that i had to use GraphicsEnabler=Yes again when booting into the drive! I then installed all the drivers and now everything works perfectly! The only thing that is not working is iMessage
