Hello folks,

I am working on an Hackintosh build on an Asus S56 laptop.
Amongst some major issues with AICPM - which I will take care of later - I am having issues with the bootloader. I am using Multibeast to do the job. From Multibeast I select Chimera and then I install it on my main hard drive. Once I reboot, the infamous "Please select bootable media device" screen appears (so it's not a boot0 error - at least not yet). My boot devices list does not display anything resembling Chimera or anything, so I am afraid there is no boot entry at all at the moment.
So right now I am able to boot from USB only. I spent a whole afternoon looking for similar topics, but everything I've found is about other errors or OSs.

Thanks for helping me in advance.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
("Personal Details" link from "profile menu" in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

Did it. Please keep in mind I am trying to install Mavericks and I already succeeded once on this very computer, but I don't remember what boot path I used (assuming that I inserted it manually).
Thanks for help.
