Ultimate ac wifi + 4.0 bluetooth OEM apple pcie card

UPDATED

I have the solution. UnTESTED.

The goal is to make this product.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/291070398098?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

for less than $120

You need a mini pci e to pci e adapter with three antennas.. Specificly this one.
If you look closely you see usb bluetooth jumper pins on the boards of the adapter.

all we need now is a apple airport express card w/bluetooth.

Apple BCM94360CD 802.11ac

combine the two and hook up a jumper from the adapter to your usb header on your motherboard.

bingo!

I have parts on order but this is untested.

nice find!

I will def be giving this project a shot..

I know for anyone out there with doubts about using airport cards and apple bluetooth boards..... DONT HAVE doubts..

its the best thing Ive ever done. My magic mouse and wifi work like a charm..

So basicly im getting the newer imac dual band atheros airport card

the adapter

and a brand new a1114 bluetooth card and I will get them all mounted on the one pci e adapter.. I think I will forgo one of the 3 antentas to use as an antena for the bluetooth and have the bluetooth mounted that way...

stay tuned for any success or failures.

oh wait... I guess you would need a airport card that has wifi and bluetooth... then cross your fingers hooking up to usb will make it work...

doesnt look like there is a way to tap a sperate bluetooth card into the board?

like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/For-APPLE-M...luetooth_Adapters_Dongles&hash=item19d66f5379

I dont think most of the mba cards are mini pci e.. or any apple bt/wifi cards...

I think in theory this should work if you go from the adapters usb pins to the bluetooth card then to the usb header.. that way maybe the bt card will get the proper juice utilizing the step down voltage off the pci e adapter....

just rambling here but what if you just use the main usb power supply wire off the adapter to the bluetooth card then send all the data cables from bt card to the motherboard usb header...

make sense? like using half the connectors off the pci adapter and the other half from usb header mobo

man I dont know why my threads go no where...

Think about this.. look at the link lod posted. its jumper cable running from the pci e adapter to the usb header on the mother board.

most likely to use the bluetooth module on the artheros wifi bt card.

pls some one try this...

I ordered the adapter with bluetooth jumpers but I cant decide on an airport card.

this looks like the one.. but man the price.

its all in one wifi and bluetooth made by the Chinese hackintosh community..!!

its g/b/n/ac but 200 dollars ..

you can see in the listing a pic of system profiler recognizing the device on a hackintosh.

and bluetooth 4.0

this is epic.

and if you build it your self should only be about 60 bucks.

Edited original post so people dont have to read through entire thread.

Can you confirm if you got this working? Thanks!

is it working? i am not sure about it, but which connector does the BCM94360CD really have?

as far is i know.. or read about it, it is not a standard connector?
