Try with FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext, but inject other device-id that it supports (look at the Info.plist).

This is the reason I injected that ID.

Also tried injecting device-id: 0xac0 on HDEF with FakePCIID installed.

Analog Audio worked fine. But no HDMI audio. Nor the null codec.

P.S: No controller patch property is not there coz injecting that always leads to no display on either screen. Also, I use AppleALC compiled with all the latest upstream changes and that has a commit "Prevent AppleGfxHDA matching on to HDEF" So I guess that property is not required anyways.

Also generally asking, have you seen any working instances of HDMI Audio on Coffeelake Laptop (UHD 630) when running macOS Mojave?

Attached to this post. In Linux, the HDMI devices shows up as "Intel Kabylake HDMI" with Vendor Id: 0x8086280b
