I've previously used UniBeast/MultiBeast on a GA-X58A board with a GA HD 6850 graphics card on ML and had no issues. However, I've updated to a GA Z77X-UP4 TH board, and the same video card is giving me fits. I've tried various combinations of GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No and various AtiConfig personalities (Bulrushes and Duckweed, mainly). I can't get to the desktop unless I boot in safe mode.
What are the general guidelines for getting a discrete video card working on a UEFI board with 10.8.4? I've read about patching ATI6000Controller.kext, and I know there is a process involving extracting a DSDT for my system. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
