The Serial has nothing to do with Time Machine AFAIK,that may be more of a UUID problem.The reason it says that you have a Macbook is because the Serial you have is from a MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.16 13" (Black) YA4.So even though you have Mac Pro3,1 in your smbios.plist, it then reads your serial and thus is why it displays like that in SI
I can't say if this is why your GB scores differ though.....

@ Kokoz

This is Not a Must do it's just my suggestion for everything to be more tied in.I kinda talked on why i think it's better to fine tune this in my first post but to each his own.A simple way to know what's going on is to use About this Mac/Support, where it says Manual & Specifications.Clicking either one will take you to a page that matches what you have,if it does not, well you know that the serial in your smbios.plist isn ''Apple like'' or however you wanna class it......

Great post. Hopefully more people will contribute more serials for each of Mac model definitions and country codes.

Even if it's not essential for those that like to recreate a hackintosh as close to a real mac as possible this is a nice touch.

:thumbup:

Update:

C02 is the country code for the UK.

By the way, I don't understand how the Y and W values work in the newer format.

For instance, on my MBP:
Y = F
W = L

How does that translate to what year (2011) and week (between 1-17 or so)?

This lookup seems pretty accurate: http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html

Apparently my MBP was built in week 17.

After some testing Apple use some weird base-28 number system with the letters A, B, E, I, O, S, U, Z removed from sequence.
