Hi everyone,
I've recently started experimenting with dual booting Lion and Windows 7 on my HTPC build, and I'm wondering about adding a TV tuner card. From what I've read on this forum and elsewhere online, OSX doesn't really work with PCI tuner cards. Assuming this is correct, would it be possible to add a PCI tuner card anyway, and use it only in Windows 7? It seems to me like this could be possible, but I'm wondering about any adverse affects of having a PCI card installed that doesn't work with OSX.
Any ideas/alternative theories? Thanks. (I suppose as a last resort I could spring for a tuner stick, but I would really rather an internal card.)
My Specs:
Core i5 2500K
Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3
8GB Ram
Crucial M4 64GB SSD (OSX), WD Caviar Black 64GB partition (Windows 7)
