Turn Monitor into Imac?

Somewhere, I know for a fact that I have read that you could take the bezel of any monitor, which would benefit the multi-screen gamer crowd. That brings me to a suggestion. Getting some sheet metal and glass at my local hardware store, we should try, and it should be possible to make an imac-ish case for a monitor! All you would need is the bezel-less monitor, a some sheet metal with a black apple logo, some glue and some hardware skills, and then, complete the OSX experience to the fullest! Just something that goes through my thought process....feedback?

omg, that sounds like a lot of work.

If you've got the time I'd love to see the finished product.

but, assuming you work, I think you are better off financially just buying a mac.

Not saying it can't be done, just saying it isn't worth the time.

Have you seen the Intel CAP08LOOP Loop L5 Aio Chassis? Google for it. An iMac like system using available low profile mother board and SSDs. The low profile DH16AG mother board is an easy hack, uses 2nd generation iCore CPUs (I am running it in my G4 Cube hack).
