Hi Guys,
I have been using a Hackintosh which runs Yosemite (version 10.10.5) for a number years now that has bee partitioned to allow me to install Windows X at a later date. Today I began the process of installing Windows X but when I selected the partition reserved for the install I am met with a message which says (see photo):
"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks.
Windows cannot be installed to this disk space. Windows must be installed to a partition formatted as NTFS."
Can someone please advise me how I can convert from a MBR partition table to a GPT partition table? Also can this be done without risking the data on my Yosemite build?
Thanks in advance.
