My experience with AMD graphics cards show that MacOS (especially recent versions High Sierra / Mojave and maybe also Catalina) has problems with a DVI connection to a monitor. It may also be the case with Intel CPU integrated graphics, probably because no recent real Macs use DVI ports anymore. HDMI and DisplayPort should work.

So, I am not optimistic about you getting DVI to work. Perhaps some extra settings are required. Maybe someone who knows better than me can chime in.

Personally, if I want to use a dual monitor setup with MacOS using CPU integrated graphics, I would look for a motherboard that has DisplayPort and HDMI ports. For example :

Success!
HDMI and DVI monitors work together with this config:

Took the easy way - bought DVI to DP adapter.
