Hi, I am using Mojave on my Acer Laptop and Everything works fine.
I have noticed that Boot is a bit slow (30 seconds);
Booting in verboose mode with -v in clover, i have seen this text

spaceman_trim_free_blocks:3327 scan took 10.378140 s, trims took 10.074028

So this process took 10 seconds of time.

Can i disable this Spaceman?

I have tried in terminal with sudo trimforce disable, but spaceman is still enabled and it still takes ten seconds.

How can i disable this spaceman to make the boot process faster? Thank you.

If TRIM is slowing down your boot, it is likely necessary and you should just be patient. Not enough info to tell if your laptop needs it or not. From what I can surmise TRIM should only be forced on SATA SSDs. It is automatically enabled for NVMe SSDs. Don't mess with it. You could corrupt or damage your SSD

Thank you for your answer.

Yes I am using an NVMe SSD.

There is a strange fact: when i checked in terminal trim support it said NO, but i was able to do sudo trimforce disable.

What should i do now? Sudo trimforce enable?

I don't know because spaceman still works like before, i don't know if something changed.

So i have too keep it. No way to disable it and make boot faster? :(

Thanks.

I have never enabled trim, this spaceman was like a default thing.
