Hello,

I was running El Capitan just fine on my hackintosh for 2-3 years I tried to fix access to my iMessage application changed some configurations around in clover configurator changed my Mac model and my config.plist and now my OS won’t boot unless it’s in safe mode. I also noticed my graphics card is now not being read as when I check my about this Mac it shows graphics display 3 MB.

When I try to boot up my cpu it loads the apple logo halfway then crashes to “no input”

I am attaching my error list below.

If anyone can please help

You should read and comply with the rules, in particular the one regarding profiles.

I filled out my profile with my build specs here is also a picture of the parts.

Anyone know what might be wrong and how can I fix it?

Hi there,

Well it's hard to tell what modifications you made that crashed the system, so from this side what I would do is boot using your UniBeast stick - if you still have it for El Capitan.

Once you have booted to the desktop (with unaccelerated graphics at this point) mount the EFI partition, copy the EFI/CLOVER folder to somewhere safe as a backup, then copy the one from the UniBeast stick over to your SSD/HDD.

That should get you booting safely. Once there you can check you have the correct version of the Nvidia web-drivers installed.

Important: If you have your original config.plist somewhere (from your original system) keep it handy so you can re-use the serial number.
This helps to avoid Apple locking your ID if they see too many unusual serial-number changes etc. Changing the System Definition usually creates a new one. By default the UniBeast serial will probably have the word "HACK" embedded in it somewhere, so you can re-use your original number as mentioned above.

Once back up and running you should check out the "An iDiot's Guide to iMessage" tutorial to populate all the other relevant UUIDs and get iMessage working

As for the screenshot you posted... Let's see how the above helps (or not) and then go forward...

Report back.

Hey thank you so much! I’m a big noob when it comes to this setup process. This is the video (copied below) i followed step by step that crashed my setup. I’m guessing maybe the change in my mac model type crashed it? Or maybe just changing the numbers around? Is there a way just to revert these back to a compatible setting without reinstalling the OS all over again? I’m still able to access the computer via safe mode only.

Anything regarding the infor below?

Yes, by using the UniBeast EFI method I mention above, there is no need to reinstall macOS at all.

iMessage and your Nvidia gpu need NVRAM emulating to work and report correctly. Check if there is a NVRAM.plist next to the EFI folder in the EFI partition. If not you can install emulation using Clover or MultiBeast.

Hi,

I don’t have my unibeast stick. I still have multibeast installed on my computer though. Can I do anything to fix it with that instead?
