Hi all,

I disabled "dragging" for trackpad, however I still notice when I use menu to manually hit sleep it will often act funny - making me grab keyboard to actually select sleep.

Can't really figure out if other trackpad settings solve this, dragging is disabled and I also rebooted just to be sure. I only notice this in menu when I want sleep, not in other apps. Anything I can try?

Actually, it's not the trackpad, but the keyboard. After sleep, if you don't press "command" at least once, it will act strangely, like command is always typed. Don't ask why. :?

So, after sleep press command before anything =)

Thanks, will try and post back! Couldn't figure it out with trackpad.

Morning! Just did some testing and two observations to share:
-This only happens on initial sleep after reboot. Further sleep sessions that I activated manually (so by selecting sleep and not by waiting 10 mins) did not have this.
-Pressing any key solves it. Space, command, C - doesn't matter which.

I have i3 system, no ATI and 4GB. Dragging is disabled in trackpad settings. Maybe someone else can verify so we can update FAQ to be more specific.

Can someone please check and confirm that any key works and only on initial sleep, we can then update faq for future reference.

I do not have this problem at all. Same model.

Soemthing else then? I run Lion 10.7.3 bios f20

Found this to be related to b press key isse after sleep:
viewtopic.php?f=259&t=54709&start=10

If I have textedit open every time trackpad acts funny I will see a b appearing in textedit.
