Hello,

I'm waiting my BCM94352Z from China (1 mounth :() for my thinkpad, to troubleshoot I buy this dongle TP-Link WN823N 15€ all works correctly on High Sierra 10.13.5 with beta pkg available on site tp link

Happy Hack :)

By beta pkg you mean this one ?

TP-Link_Installer_Beta_Mac
1. For Mac 10.13.
2.For TL-WN823Nv3/TL-WN725Nv3/TL-WN722Nv3/TL-WN821Nv6/ ArcherT4U V3/Archer T9UH V2

Note: This is a beta version, unknown bugs may still exist. The formal version is coming soon.

Because I have it working currently with the driver for TL-WN722Nv2 (TL-WN725N_V2_160128). It drives both my TL-WN722Nv2 and my TL-WN823N V1 dongles

Mac OS X 10.7~10.11
Notes:
1.For TL-WN725N V2.
2.This beta driver is provided by chipset manufacturer.
3.The official driver is under test.TP-LINK will release it as soon as possible.

I wonder if this beta driver could handle them, and if its bring a better experience ?

Hey Utof,
My TL-WN722Nv2 can work but got two issues:
it can only link to invisible SSID hotspots, not visible free hotspots because it cannot see any ... that's so strange) and I won't be able to use any of the "wifi-explorer" type apps:
https://itunes.apple.com/tw/app/wifi-explorer-lite/id1408727408?mt=12

Can you confirm my issues doesn't exist on yours? if it's my device's issue or this model?
since you had WN722Nv2 and my TL-WN823N both...

Thanks in advance!

If you look at the "Features & Pricing" of WiFi Explorer here: https://www.adriangranados.com/

It states:
  • External Wi-Fi Adapter Support : No
Only the professional version at €109.99 does support external wifi adapter (aka USB wifi dongle), and under certain conditions (by using an additional piece of software called "External Adapter Support Environment" and for a very short list of USB wifi adapters).

Hi guys
I have WN823n installed with driver V3 from here:https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/tl-wn823n/#FAQs

it show in system information, it shows my wifi networks available on status bar, but I got the message "802.11n NIC is not plugged " in network preferences pane.

High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G66) .... I'm almost sure the same hardware/driver worked on HS (17G65)
Any clues?

solved. internet works, but in sytem pref shows as not connected anyway. just reinstalled driver

Works on 10.14.4 Mojave as well. Browsing with it now. No issues that I've ran across in 5 minutes.
