I have this card installed and it is detected fine in windows.

I have tried about 7 different kexts suggested in the forums, but no luck.

When I go to About This Mac, it does not even show up at all. I have tried every pcie slot besides the one my video card is in.

I am running an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 LGA 1366 Intel x58.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

it would help further if you provided more info. which ver of osx? I've got it working fine with mavericks with a simple kext. it would behoove you to list he 7 you've used which didn't work. you might have used the right one just done a step wrong...

pick up a box of these for 15 bucks a piece. I've deployed half a dozen of these, they all work as native airport, with 300mb throughput. cheapest native Airport card PCIe card I've found.

Here is the list I have found.

IO80211family.kext
IO80211family 11.14.08 AM.kext
IO80211family 11.13.26 AM.kext
IO80211family 8.00.00 PM.kext
IO80211family 7.58.09 PM.kext
IO80211family 7.36.07 PM.kext
AtherosFix.kext

The only thing I do is download the kext and run kextbeast. I make sure the kext is updated in the extensions folder.

I have read a bit about inserting the device ID, but not clear on how to properly insert it.

What concerns me is the procedure to get the device ID. Some say go to "about this mac" and get it from the system report, but I don't even see it showing up there.

You got a link the the 15$ card thats worked for you?

Thanks again for all the help!
