I'm trying to get this USB wifi adapter (http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/cat-11_Archer-T2UH.html) to work on my hackintosh using this driver (http://www.mediatek.com/en/downloads1/downloads/mt7610u/). I can connect to my Asus router and have full signal bars, but still not get an actual Internet connection. When I go into Sys Prefs>Network, I see that there is no IP address. Is there some kind of kext I need to install before it's fully operational?
Fixed: I uninstalled the driver and rebooted with USB adapter still plugged in and reinstalled the driver. I cleared the known SSID's and reconnected to my Asus router and now I'm connected. Weirdly enough, when I rebooted, the NVIDIA driver was not running but I just enabled it again in Sys Prefs.
