(ProBook 4350s) Touchpad errors causing freeze.

Ever since upgrading to 10.9.3 on my ProBook 4350s I'v had a following problem:

Any contact with Touchpad will cause errors to flood Console (at the rate of about 1k per sec):

kernel[0]: ApplePS2SynapticsTouchPad: Unexpected byte0 data (2e) from PS/2 controller

And eventually system freezes.

I'v tried following solutions:

  • Fresh 10.9.3 install.
  • Replacing ProBook PS2 Kexts with those provided in Multibeast.
  • Installing RehabMan's VoodooPS2Controller kexts using this guide.
  • Removing kexts responsible for touchpad to disable it completely, as advised here.

I should also probably add that Touchapad works fine under Windows.

Install the latest build from the link on GitHub (bitbucket). Then repair permissions and rebuild cache. Then EC reset. Make sure you follow instructions for installation.

All working, big thanks!
