Hi, I upgraded from El Capitan to Sierra 10.12.6. I lost audio in the process and I've been reading and reading and I seem to NOT be able to get it to work.
In Preferences I get No Output device found. I think I may have changed the 'profile' in Multibeast or Clover. My Hackintosh was recognized as a Macbook Pro before, but I changed it to iMac 14,2. I sort of understand what I did but don't quite get a grasp of the whole relationship.
Anyhow, it was running fine on the El Capitan. I got my Nvidia card to work and now just need audio back. I'm on a 4790k using a GA z97x-ud3h-bk. I believe the audio card uses the Realtek alc1150?
Like I said I'm totally at a loss of what to do.
This is not a clean install so I would appreciate help on 'cleaning' any old audio kexts that I may have installed and screwed up.
