I managed to get Yosemite to install on the Toshiba P55-A5200, but I'm having many problems post installation.

1) Will not boot without -x GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x2000, -x being the most important. Without safe mode it crashes almost instantly on boot watching on -v.
2) Even when it boots, it has the following problems:
a) Graphics are VERY slow, many things refuse to redraw on the screen. Screen blinks and draws horizontal lines on it sometimes when it's transitioning from the login screen to desktop.
b) Keyboard rarely works, normally it pops up a window looking for a Bluetooth keyboard. Some reboots the keyboard works, others it doesn't, but it always wants to connect a BT keyboard.
c) Touchpad rarely works. Some boots it does, some it doesn't. Even when it works, it doesn't work well with taps not registering a click.
d) Frequently crashes on login with spinning wheel.
e) No WiFi
f) No Audio
g) Entire system runs very slow

During boot, it frequently dies on USB devices (when watching on -v).

I've installed the latest MultiBeast many times trying various different options but nothing has made any difference. I haven't been able to find any DSDTs for this system.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Putting my specs in my profile is not appropriate since this laptop is one I'm working on for a friend. I have my own hackintosh which has been working perfectly for a number of years under various flavors of OSX. If I put a system in my profile, it will be that one, not this laptop.

It doesn't matter. If you want help here, the specs must be in your profile.
