Hello, Im a total noob when it comes to this Hackintosh stuff. I was wondering firstly, if its even possible to convert my laptop into hackbook, and if so what version could I install (snow leopard, lion, mountain lion?) Here's a list of my laptops specs:

Intel Pentium Dual CPU T2390 @ 1.86GHz 1.87 GHz
2.00 GB Ram
32 bit Operating System

Any feedback would be awesome, thanks very much in advance!

you'll need to find out more detailed specs on your laptop, chipset, video, audio, network. I installed snow leopard on a gateway. 945gm chipset with t2250 core duo (32 bit cpu) plus some work on kexts for network stuff and audio and wireless. look up your cpu on the intel site to find out whether its a 32bit or 64bit cpu, that will help you figure out which osx to install. I couldn't get lion or ML ofcourse to work since they are 64bit and my cpu does not support that unless someone else can prove i can get those osx to work on an old laptop. I had to build my own usb bootable install not unibeast tho this time, ofcourse another mac would be helpful for that. Almost any pc will run mac if your willing to put in the time and effort.

The CPU is 64-bit compatible, according to http://ark.intel.com/products/35153/Intel-Pentium-Processor-T2390-(1M-Cache-1_86-GHz-533-MHz-FSB)

It's a close match to the laptop I have - Toshiba L450-136 ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002Q8HMFK/?tag=tonymacx86-21 )

Probably the same generic mobo inside it?

CPU has been upgraded (on mine) to T6670 (just dropped in and worked!) and RAM upgraded to 8GB (2x4GB - despite it not being officially supported...), and 945GM chipset.

Snow Leopard works fine - not tested > Lion yet though, as I have a desktop hackintosh.
