Hi everyone,
I need to connect to an iPad so I put a TL-WN881ND PCIe card I had lying around in my 10.9.5 Z68 hack.
I read Toleda's sticky(great, thanks!) and decided to use the ARPT.kext method.
After installing toledaARPT.kext the airport symbol appeared and WIFI worked. But it is erratic and slow...
2 MB/s downloads over WIFI from my NAS, that's bad. Wired I can do 50 MB/s. Connection to the iPad is also not optimal.
Every now and then(after restarting the WIFI connection, for example) up/download speeds are much faster, about the same as my MacBookPro on 2.4 GHz, but after a short while speed drops to 2 MB down and a measly 0.4 MB up...
My Airport Extreme is 5 feet from my Hack/iPad/MBP.
What am I missing?
Best,
Z
