TL-WDN4800 - Unstable Wifi only on OS X

Suddenly I had a similar problem with my TL-WDN4800, after vacuum cleaning the card (hardware problem) - the card started working properly again :-D

Tried to turn off Wake-on-LAN in the Bios of my GA Motherboard. Only item available is to enable Erp, thus disabling WoL. No luck. Still have connection drops, but MUCH LESS FREQUENTLY!

Looking for a full fix.

I know it's been a dead thread, but wanted share.

I had a similar issues when I was using this hac(i7 4790, z87x ud7 TH, 32gb ram, few SSD and few HDD).

but ever since I re install(format everything) and upgraded to Catalina, it was unstable like hell..

dropped connection every few minute, very slow.

so I followed few tips I got from here, such as moved pci-e slot but was same. and I found the solution by

disable onboard LAN (there are 2 menu that I had to disable onboard LAN). now it works fine, still not super fast but I guess my desktop is far from where the router is, so I can live with that.
