Curious, I know Thunderbolt is "supported" with the new Gigabyte board, and there's a "golden build" posted. But, does this mean fully supported or is this just to a certain extent? What about USB 3.0, is it fully supported yet?
I ask because 6 months ago I decided to stop using my Hackintosh for Logic (I'm a full-time composer) and purchase a Mac Pro. I intend on selling the Mac Pro and buying the new one when it comes out, but I just found out that *most* of my issues that I thought were caused by my Hackintosh were actually caused my other things - Apogee Ensemble issues, OWC hard drive interface failing, etc. I made the mistake of assuming that I was having issues due to it not being a normal Mac.
Since it's my job, I feel like I should play it safe and only work with 100% standard gear, but I want to know how supported these technologies are at this point. Just in case.
