Looking at the ioreg you attached, it does not appear the device is detected.

I see. The device is detected in the Thunderbolt Control Panel in windows, yet still isn't detected by macOS! Is this a driver issue on the macOS end, or an issue with the device itself?

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I'd was planning on getting a thunderbolt audio device but now I'm worried it won't work!

I believe that the functionality of Thunderbolt on this computer depends on many factors working together. Also the controller was technically detected, it never picked up and recognized the device. I instead went with a USB audio device instead.

What device did you get? Usb2? Usb3?

Plug TB devices in prior to boot.
(I may investigate a fix to that particular requirement if I ever purchase any TB devices... if you use search you may find relevant discussion)

it use to work for me , now I can t get it to work ... UAD Apollo
when I boot in windows it work s
after I reboot in Mac it works
so I need to boot in windows before and then after reboot into Mac
I have a felling it as to do with Bios
bios 045 use to work no problem
