I've seen a couple videos with Hacks made from single core Xeon boards from the same brand but anyone has laid his hands on the dual processor one ? Thoughts ? Looks like it's possible to build quite a monster for intense multi-threaded audio / video work (I do audio) for reasonable $$$.

Nice ! Was this a difficult build to get going relative to a more straightforward "buyer's guide" build ? What works, what doesn't ? I'm fantasizing about one of this boards with a couple 2690v3 or something like that for Pro Tools and cpu-intensive uses. Thanks !
