Hi guys!

I have noticed Samsung SSDs' prices have gone through the roof during the last months so I am looking around for an alternative.
Specific example would be: I bought my two Samsung 850 EVOs - both 250GBs for under £60 each. They are, at the time of posting, £90+ a pop over @ Amazon. This is a 50% price increase in a short period of time so it got me looking...

I think the price tag on This Plextor SSD is quite compelling and reviews and benchmarks are saying that it does not lag far behind the 850EVO - we're talking about a single digit percentage performance drop here.

My concern, however, is would I be able to install macOS on it? Has anyone had any experience with the drive?
It comes loaded with some fancy software, which I presume simply won't work in a hackintosh, but if the drive is otherwise usable I think it might just be the buy for me..

I would be happy to hear any thoughts and/or experiences you guys might have.

Happy Wednesday to you all!

Any standard SATA SSD will work. The Plextor you found should be fine as well.
