I finally solved this problem. Well, I hope!

• In iCloud preferences, I unchecked almost everything. I only left Photos and Contacts checked.
• In Keychain, I deleted all iCloud entries

I'm not sure what action fixed this because I did both at once. Hope this helps!

Does your iMessage work? Also, unchecking "iCloud Drive" basically means disabling your iCloud, I think.

This fixed my issue. I guess it was related to the Keychain having an old version of my iCloud creds. Thanks for your help.
