Dear,

I have a new ThinkPad T430 with successful installed macOS High Sierra but I have some problems and I hope someone here can help me. MacOS detects my SD-Card Reader and I can see the Card in Disk Utility but I can not erase or read it. Before I had the same issue with my second HDD in a Caddy drive but I solved it with this patch: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/815-appleahciportkext/

I hope someone can help me...

PS: Sry for my bad english ^^

My Clover folder ist attached

Regards!
Marcel

Not a desktop. Moved to laptop support.

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

Ok.... Again....

I have a ThinkPad T430 with a i5-3320M processor, a 128GB SSD (connected in the main drive where the HDD was), a Caddy with a 320GB HDD (is where the DVD-Drive was connected) and 8GB of RAM...

On the T430 is High Sierra successful installed and it works fine

I have a problem with my SD-Card Reader. Everytime if I insert the SD-Card in the Reader slot a popup message comes:

The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer.

I had the same issue with my caddy drive (I think because it is a hotplug device) and I fixed it with this patch in clover

Code:

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

If the disk you insert has non-Windows, non-Mac partitions on it, then you'll get that message.
It is expected and would be the same on a real Mac.

Your ioreg shows no such card/disk/etc installed.

If I insert the SD-Card before I start the T430 the SD-Card and the right storage amount show up in the Disk Utility
