Hello!

I'm having difficulties patching my DSDT to enable battery status monitoring on my laptop.

I've looked through the forum and I found post mentioning that Yoga S1 patch helped (but eventually the battery status became "stuck" on 97%), another user mentioned he made it work, but didn't tell how ☹. My battery status stays at 0%.

I am using OpenCore. Please refer to attached files for debug dump and OC folder.

Hi, I think you could use the DSDT for a similar machine like a T440 or T440s. I'm having a problem installing Mojave on my S440. Could you please share your EFI? I'm stuck on a rebooting cycle right after ++++end random seed.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you for your message, I attached debug to initial post.

Sorry for the mess, now I updated my profile to match my install.
I am using OpenCore.
ahh, that tool doesn't work with OpenCore

So then how can I provide you with necessary dumps?
should be removed:
ACPIBacklight.kext
IntelBacklight.kext

and replace:
ACPIBatteryManager.kext

with SMCBatteryManager.kext

ACPIBacklight.kext
IntelBacklight.kext
were disabled in config.plist anyway

I replaced ACPIBatteryManager.kext with SMCBatteryManager.kext, still no luck enabling battery status in System Preferences :(
