    Hello Sir!

Can you help me? I'm stuck trying to do Sierra working well. I have boot, GTX780 worked, but i can't feel stable. My 48G RAM won't be recognized in total amount.
Can you share kexts and bios settings?
    Thanks in advance!

Your EVGA SR-2 Motherboard will NOT work reliably with Sierra - ONLY with Mac OS X 10.8.5. Believe me I've tried and it's okay, because there's nothing really that great that you "need" to install Sierra or any OS over 10.8.5. Now if you want to build an entirely new system; like I've done with another programmer (which I will be posting soon), then you might be able to install Sierra. Hope this helps...

I have a reliable working version of Sierra running.

Installing Sierra on the EVGA Classified SR2

First I installed Sierra onto a Disk using my MacBook Air, bit of a cheat but the setup from there was pretty straightforward.

I set up Clover using the following settings:

I then set up the EFI portion like so using d00ds DSDT.aml which I’m attaching I used the latest FakeSMC and NullCPUPowerManagement
    kexts:

You need to delete (move) the AppleTyMCEDriver.kext if you don't have ECC RAM and the boot caches before rebooting.

    sudo mv /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTyMCEDriver.kext/ ~/Desktop/
    rm -R /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches
That moves AppleTyMCEDriver.kext to your Desktop for use later if you get ECC RAM

This gets most things up and running that I can see so far.

    SNAGLIST:

Usual iCloud and messages error, SMBIOS and en0 network should fix them.

I’ve splurged on some ECC RAM so will see if that fixes the AppleTyMCEDriver.kext problem.

Struggling with getting a product name that works for SMBIOS but still experimenting, This causes a KP when used on all the ones I’ve tried so far and is also linked to the AppleTyMCEDriver.kext due to the MacPro5,1 requiring ECC.

Well, good for you. I'm sincerely glad it worked. The only reason why I don't say anything anymore on this forum, is because if I say something that leads anyone away from the traditional way of how things are done here, I risk being banned. Again, I'm glad it worked out for you and if you ever want to reach out to me just google "The Hackinbeast" and find me that way. Later…

I'm not judging you, I'm just stating my opinion. Heck, if it wasn't for your site and the stuff that you and your crew produces, I'd be dead in the water. So BIG-UPS to you guys !!! In fact, I just put together a brand new system that will be more than twice as fast as the current machine that I'm using. Hope you'll like it as I'll be posting sometime this week. Hopefully this will inspire others to not only imitate what I've done, but do even better! Later…
