Sorry KGP, where I've gone wrong is not reinstalling clover after adding in OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi and the kexts from the EFI I sent you. I've done the exact process you've just described and am currently just getting "kmod start.com.app" as the last line in -v mode with no install screen.

"xCHI" is set to "Smart Auto" and I'm using the same port as the successful install the other day.

Sorry, I know it seems like a lost cause I'd just really love to get this working.

But it is really unbelieveable!!!

You are not even able to read 6 lines in bold and red!!!

You should

1.) install clover
2.) delete the content of the EFI folder
3.) copy the ENTIRE content of the EFI folder you sent me to the now empty EFI folder on your USB flash drive
4.) reinstall clover and
5.) check after the SECOND reinstallation of clover if you just have the OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi and no other OsxAptioFix*Drv*.efi in the EFI folder on your USB flash drive!

Would it be possible after writing you FOUR TIMES THE SAME INSTRUCTIONS that you finally do what I am saying??? Exactly in this order???

That's been my process for all of my installs. The only thing I didn't realise was that after installing clover, adding the kexts from your guide and adding OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi was that I'd then need to install clover onto the USB again after making those changes to the EFI.

I do apologise for the confusion, I have been listening to your instructions and do appreciate the patience you've had with me.

After retrying the install over 15 times now with every single step correctly done I've still been unsuccessful at getting to the install screen.

I don't want to take up more of your time, hopefully I'll be reporting back with a successful install at some point.

1.) You should not only add the kexts and OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi from my guide but also the config.plist!!!!!
The easiest approach to do this, is to replace the entire EFI folder after the first clover install with the one you sent me!!!! I
told you this now 6 TIMES!!!!! You are not able to listen, that's the problem!!!!! Subsequently, to have the last boot loader installed (the EFI folder you sent me does not use the latest clover boot loader) you have to install Clover a second time!!!!!
Finally, to be sure that during the second clover install, clover did not add again any OsxAptioFix*Drv**.efi different from OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi, you have to check that after the second clover install OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi is really the only OsxAptioFix*Drv**.efi in your EFI directory.....

I am sure I can propose you this approach 7 or 8 times and you will never listen or follow.. It is simply a total waste of my time..
2.) Two days ago we succeeded in successfully booting your system. Now you are again at ZERO.. You are unable to listen and to
repeat what one is telling you. I am not able to help you further!! I do not mind if somebody using my guide is not properly skilled to do so. Many non-experts succeed with their first install of a hackintosh because they are able to listen and to receive help. You definitely do not seem to be one of does and your approach seems totally chaotic. Sorry for speaking that frankly.. but I am really loosing hope in your case. By facing this huge amount of problems already at the very beginning during the very basic install, you will not be able to follow the subsequent steps of my guide in order to reach a stable and fully functional system. Did you ever consider the option to stay with a Windows operating system? This might be definitely the better option in your case.

Cheers, man!

KGP

I built my first Hackintosh after several months trial. I installed Sierra 10.12.6. My hardware is as follows:
1) Asus X99 Aii, 2) I7 6850K, 3) 64GB GSkill Ram, 4) Auros Geforce 1080 Ti Extreme, 5) LG Ultrawide 32 Monitor

Everything looks good except there is some blurry of fonts right after the screen is scrolled. A blurry happens just seconds.
I try to find some solution in the web, but I do not make it.

I'd like to get your advice.

Try to fine tune your mouse settings in system preferences, i.e. scrolling speed and maybe also track speed if necessary.

Hey bro,
First of all I wanted to say thank you ... Your guide worked for me like a clock

Originally I had a different motherboard than yours ... and I could not make the manual
But after I purchased a motherboard similar to yours .. it just worked!

Attaching images to a post

I only have 1 problem that I would be happy to help
I have the samsung 950 pro nvme
And I can not run it on my system

I'd love to know if you have the way to run it on my system

Anyway thank you for everything!
You are amazing.

And of course I've seen your new guide ... and I'll update you when the mac os high sierra has officially come out!

Rehabman's NVMe patch (HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_5.kext) and my nvme_patch.aml did not help? Did you install the latest firmware for the EVO 950 PRO?

I am sorry, but I have no experience with the EVO 950 PRO. Somebody else? Please help!

kgp,
I'm putting the whole display topic to the side as I don't have any issues.

Now, touching on the XCPM topic, figured out why mine wouldn't return `1` when running sysctl machdep.xcpm.mode. The xcpm_bootstrap change on 10.12.6.
This is the one that worked.
