I just wanted to share my new Hack build I dubbed the Leviathan after the ancient water god. Case is absolutely huge!!! I had a Corsair 650D before - this is at least 40-50% larger!! When this case was announced, I knew I wanted it right away. I paid for it in full in Feb. 2013 - I received it 2 weeks ago! Worth the wait!! With everyone going to smaller form factors - I have always liked having larger cases. I have big hands and trying to work on a small case with no room for movement drives me nuts. This is my 5th Hack build and the one I love the most.
Components:
GA-Z77X-UD5H
i7 3770K Overclocked to 4.6GHz
32GB of Corsair Vengance Ram
Corsair HX 750 PSU
Gigabyte GTX 670 OC
1 x 3TB Barracuda - time machine backups
2 x 2TB Barracuda raid array - user files
1 x 120GB Intel 330 SSD - OSX boot drive
1 x 256GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD - Windows 8 (for gaming)
TP-LINK wifi card
2 x UV cold cathode tubes which bring the color to life!
Watercooling components:
XSPC Raystorm 750 EX 360 kit - includes an awesome Rad and CPU block
XSPC 360 RAD
XSPC GTX 680 videocard waterblock (used for my GTX 670 which uses the GTX 680 PCB)
EK GTX 680 video card top cover
tonnes of fittings - both swiftech and bitspower
1/2" ID tubing
EK's largest tube water reservoir
EK UV reactive LIME green coolant
Pics:
I had to modify the chassis to fit the XSPC pump/res combo on the bottom of the case. I didn't want to break up the look of the front expansion bays as I think it looks a bit weird. I had to cut the bottom fan mount and install the res/pump there facing front:
This way the front looks clean and uniform throughout and I use all of the optical expansion bay blanks to give it a clean look. I am still finishing up some of the finer details like fans and controllers for them, etc.
Overall, I love this new build. Tonnes of future expansion capability! The only thing is it weighs a ton!! 47lbs for the empty case - easily over 90lbs with 2 litres of coolant and all the stuff installed.
Looking forward to your feedback!
