The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

@ModMike

I think I solved my sleep problem. Tonight my Mac didn’t wake up even once. I changed tcpkeepalive from 1 to 0.

Commands for the terminal: sudo pmset -a tcpkeepalive 0

Here is the log file:

iMac-Pro:~ sergey$

Are you still getting post error using OC? I suspect that Hibernate may cause the post error. In my latest OC I have it disabled.

Same issue...using the VEGA causes my system to not boot to the display, the GPU fans go crazy and I have to remote into my machine to disable it and reboot.

I looked at your signature and don't understand. Can you please let me know what hardware you are using?

What is your favourite free plist editor?
I am using PlistEdit Pro. It works great.

No, through Hackintool I turned off hibernation by setting 0.

I am still getting the error message.

I may have found a solution to the post error. I enabled F1 on error again to keep a better eye on it. Guess what, it came back with a vengeance!

Based on what I researched yesterday, I came across a potential solution on Githib. Try the attached and let me know.

I booted. I needed to add the argument agdpmod = pikera. What is RadeonBoost.kext for?

After upgrading to a new EFI, I rebooted my Mac twice. I did not see the error F1. How did you fix it?

This does not affect macOS, but it spoils the look.

Is it possible to make the bootloader menu larger? On my 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) monitor, it looks too small.

When loading the OS, the Apple logo is very large, like Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution. Immediately after turning on the computer, when I enter the password for the account, my interface is also sometimes larger than after logging into the account.

Is it possible to fix this somehow?

Here's what it looks like after power on:

Here's what it looks like after exiting sleep mode or at another time (as it should be):

This does not work for me. Instead of the desktop, I get a black screen.

Update #1

I booted. I needed to add the argument agdpmod = pikera.

I forgot to re-add it. Some of my settings got lost. I am giving up on Configurator. Going to be pure plist editor for a while.
