Another question, can I delete osxaptiofix when I have native nvram ?

Ok !
i made a test with AptioMemoryFix.efi instead osxaptiofix2drv.efi
what's the difference ? witch is better for this mobo ?
Whichever works better for you. AptioMemoryFix.efi is the older version and to my understanding not being updated anymore.

Hey
Thanks for the guide.
I want to build this computer, and I want to use Gigabyte RX Vega 64 OC 8G , is it OK and works OOB ?
I asked you that question because from my last experience of building a Hackintosh , I tried Gigabyte Z370-HD3 with MSI RX 580 Armor, and I couldn't get it to work. I installed macOS 10.15 successfully but macOS didn't recognize the Graphics. I read every thread about that card and tried every DSDTs and SSDTs, I tried every method and it didn't work.

Now want to build another one, and I want to use your guide and guidance. Would you please tell me which graphics card is the most compatible with your Motherboard?

8 month ago I build a Hackintosh with MSI Vega 56 AirBoost on ASUS Maximus VIII Hero. It was a success. Should I go for the MSI ? or Gigabyte ? or Sapphire ?
"Apple eGPU support" said that they support "Sapphire Vega" cards. BUT, I don't have access to them. I can't buy it on Amazon because Amazon doesn't deliver thing to my country. I can buy :

1.GIGABYTE RX VEGA 64 GAMING OC 8G
2.GIGABYTE RX VEGA 56 GAMING OC 8G
3.MSI Radeon RX VEGA 56 AirBoost OC 8G (I've tested this one on another mobo IDK if It's ok with Z390-I or not)
4.Sapphire NITRO+ RX580 8GB (It's closest to yours I think, and it should be ok, ha? but I think I need a little bit more power for DaVinci Resolve)

Thanks. @ModMike :)

My macOS 10.15.2 computer sometimes wakes up from sleep mode. This does not always happen, but once every few days.

Here is what I see when I type the command:

I turned off my computer at about 5:00, and then went to bed. If I understand correctly, he woke up himself after about one hour. What could be the reason?

Following this guide successfully so far, but I want to install Catalina 15.2. I used UniBeast to make the installer but it never made an EFI partition to put the EFI folder in from the guide. Is there a different set up steps I should be following?

@ModMike your build guide is fantastic. I have my CustoMac up and running, still a ways to go - running an RX5700 (so no 3d) and holding off updating to Catalina for the moment - until next OS update and I get my head round the gremlins Catalina has introduced due to system changes/read only etc.

Did you create the USB as GPT? if you don’t, it won’t work correctly.

Following the guide with careful attention, to the point of installing from USB. In summary, I reset BIOS, configured specific settings, created drive with UniBeast 10.0.0, deleted EFI/copied CAT-IGPU-EFI. The symptom is my screen eventually goes blank and enters power saver mode (it's connected to display port).

The last line I see before that occurs is "IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0"

Update: In the Clover options, inject Intel was selected, and the FakeID was 0x00000000. I changed it to 0x12345678 and I have a display and was able to install Catalina. However, the graphics VRAM is showing as 7 MB. Would that be due to the FakeID I used?

Update 2: As lesliestandifer said below, using the HDMI port and leaving the Clover options as is (FakeID 0x00000000), it booted successfully and displayed full VRAM.
