The Dell OptiMac Big Sur/OpenCore Thread - For 7020/9020 Optiplex Desktops

The kext sets HS08 to internal. That is what you'll be connecting to. That has data and power. It's HS07 that only has power and no data. I've removed it as you really have no use for it when the BT data cable is connected to HS08.

Since it is still in beta, I'm not supporting Monterey yet. You'll be on your own till the GM is released later this year. We still need to see what graphics support will be kept in Monterey for the longer term. Nvidia gfx may be dropped, even HD4600 may be dropped too. Until we know, it's best to not upgrade yet. Stay with the latest version of Big Sur. 11.5.2

@trs96 I followed the guide and it went smooth on a 9020 MT with the i7. I'm trying today to do it on an i5 and I'm hanging on IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0. Where did I go wrong with this machine?

It's a graphics related problem. Which i5 are you using ? Using iGPU or a dedicted graphics card ?

Actually I just checked i7-4770 and onboard graphics. The other one had a separate card.
