That's because many Cryptominers bought and used these by the 1000s. AMD cards were better than Nvidia for mining and also cost less initially back then. Once the Bitcoin bubble got really big AMD prices went sky high in '17/'18.Meanwhile an aftermarket RX 560 card would cost about only 50 USD...
Sometimes you'll find one used in good condition but it's still a gamble. Miners would flash the Vbios to a custom one that worked best for mining. It has to be flashed back to the original Vbios to work in a hackintosh.
