Hi,
I got Dell U2717d monitor yesterday and the problem is all text in the system is small and not good to read and kind of blurry.

The sidebar after changed to large

I used Displayport

Before I was using 24" 1080p and all text was clear and sharp.

Did I miss something?

The following terminal command helped me the most with blurry font issue, when I was searching for solutions to the same issue. As previous poster stated, there is no sub-pixel anti-aliasing in Mojave. For this to work, you need to enable font smoothing under general preferences. Log out or reboot after you enter the command.

Code:
defaults write -g CGFontRenderingFontSmoothingDisabled -bool NO

Thanks for helping

Was the previous 1080p monitor with something other than Mojave?

Mojave dropped text anti-aliasing for non-retina displays. So any display below 4K will have blurry text.

You can try this http://osxdaily.com/2018/09/26/fix-blurry-thin-fonts-text-macos-mojave/ to see if it fixes some issues but to have really sharp text you have to move to a UHD display with Mojave.

yes with same Mojave
I try the code in that link it fix little, Is there away to scaling little bit as the font still small

So you let me think of return that monitor and get 4K as replacement, I wasn't think that monitor need to be compatible as well
