Hi Tony!
This list of versions is really a must-have, it helped me understand things: I thought that a MB version (say 5.5.5) was ok for all the former versions of the current OSX (say 10.8.x in that case) but that post says clearly that it's bound to ONE version, which I could easily verify trying 5.5.5 on a working 10.8.3 and I lost my sound! ;)
Is there some place where that information comes from?
If not, I think it should be displayed there http://www.tonymacx86.com/basics/104538-learning-basics-tonymacx86-101-a.html or on the download page!
Thank you for everything! :D

So my audio works, but when computer sleeps I loose sound. A reboot solves the issue and sound works again until next sleep, but I am wondering if there is a way to keep sound working after sleep.
10.9.3/GA-Z97N-WIFI/BIOS 4/i7-4770k/GTX760
MultiBeast 6.3 ALC892, then deleted AppleHDA and installed new AppleHDA-892-9-series from quick fix onboard audio 9 series.

Any ideas on this one?

Hi!
On my build, I had to install AppleHDA from MB 6.1 and the rest from MB 6.3 to have 10.9.3 work ok.
nodarkthings, I wonder if that will work. I am running a newer 9 series board so the issue I had in the beginning was that the MB 6.3 ALC892 didn't work. I needed to download a patched version from Toleda. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hey everyone

I was going to do the AppleHDA fix but I noticed the audio worked fine in Safari. So I solved my flash / chrome / mavericks audio issues simply by installing the latest version of Chrome available in the beta channel (36).

https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/beta.html?platform=mac&extra=betachannel

It also works with the latest version of Chromium (37 I think) and Chrome Canary.
