Takes a long time to reach Clover Boot Menu

8700k, rx 580, mojave 10.14.2, 1440p monitor and 4k monitor, both using DP cable.

It takes a long time to load the clover boot menu. In the past, it would take a long time because it was showing that "afps" verbose code before loading Clover, and now it just shows a black screen for like 10 seconds before loading clover. I already checked other answers saying to make sure debug mode isnt on in my clover config/boot. Its already off, so thats not it. Any other ideas?

i run into the same problem i unticked clover debug files in clover configurator now it shows clover in less than 10 seconds
not sure why it wont work for you

I have like 6 hard drives so I’m wondering if one of them is slow to scan, and how to tell it to only look for an NVME drive and skip sata/usb drives, since my OS is on the only NVME drive.
