I'm having the same issue. After a certain amount of time the system freezes with the system uptime kernel panic, keyboard/mouse shut down and i have to do a hard reset. Same result on 10.8.4 and 10.8.5. Really wanna find a fix for this. Been happening since 10.8.4

I somewhat fixed the issue, but the same problem occurs after rendering in After Effects or any editing program as this is what I use the Hackintosh for. If you found any solution, it would be greatly appreciated

It is caused by your MacPro5,1 sysdef. Change it to MacPro3,1 or remove AppleTyMCEDriver.kext.

This really helped me out my system is back up and running smoothly!
