Hi all,
I have installed Yosemite on my old desktop.
Specs:
C2D E8400 3GHz
4GB DDR2
G33 Chipset with integrated graphics.
I know the graphics is not supported but I am fine with the low visuals.
I was able to boot into the installer and finish the installation.
When I restart the system, the system shows RTC: Only single RAM back (128 bytes)
The system successfully booted at one point of time where I was able to perform initial setup.
Now my problem is that the system is able to successfully boot only at random times.
I use the following boot flags
dart=0 npci=0x2000 -v -f kext-dev-mode=1
Somebody please help me and I'd appreciate if someone helps me to understand the boot sequence process.
I use Chameleon bootloader.
I also know that the GPU is not supported but it's fine, I am able to start up and the choppy graphics are enough for me to work with Word.
