Lost permissions
I'm getting countles series of similar looking error when asigning myself as the owner to the system drive (right click, unlock, hit "+", add meuser, apply to enclosed folders, errors:
"The system extension “/System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext” was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product’s vendor for an update."
For a while now I don't get any results in spotlight / Alfred, now I wanted to know why. Started digging, looked into possible missing permissions, noticed that I as a user am not asigned to the system drive, so my user name is just missing, others like system/wheel/everyone are there, but not my user. Tried to change that by adding myself like described above and so on...
What should I do? I've got a backup, but it's not that old, so the issue might be on the backup as well.
Disk Utility showed conflits. Repair permissions worked without issues though.
Please let me know if you need anything. Tnx for looking into this.
edit:
DPCIManager (Repair permissions), the list is actually longer.
