Very clean build. Perfect use of the case. I can see an advantage of the G3 case over my Sawtooth in that the mATX board fits better because the shelf the DVD/zip drive sat on does not come back as far and still gives you room to install a DVD drive if you like. I like how you made the new power switch for the front.

Concur. I, too, have a working Sawtooth with a DVD and IOmega Zip drive. While the Sawtooth is hot rodded with a G4 @ 1.5GHz processor and still is working fine, I'll be on the lookout for a cheap Z68MX-UD2H / i5-2500K combo to mod the Sawtooth.

Update:

Managed to find a HDD bracket with a fan, I had to remove the metal grill to make it fit.

I think it looks a lot better.

New Power LED and switch for the front panel.

This is a really good idea. I am working on a sawtooth case and still have to install an LED after hacking the existing switch circuitry.

great mod; stock appearance is great.
