Here guys, i'm not gonna give the procedure, just a BIG reminder, i have tried to make sound work all day on Saturday, without joy, that's when i decided to flash my Bios to the latest, only then i was able to make the sound work!

you don't have to have windows installed for this, just go on gigabytes web site and download the bios file, decompress it and put it on a usb key then flash it (menu to flash is in the EUFI)

i guess you could edit the AppleHDA.kext to change it to the green one

Is the -wifi board different than the non-wifi board? I set up ML on my z77x-ud5h (F8 BIOS) the other day, and audio works fine on the green port. Installed the Realtek 898 audio driver, IIRC (not at that computer right now to check).
